If so, Pace is looking for an experienced Dispatcher/Logistics Specialist to join our team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for driver, operations, customer or safety issues.
• Identify appropriate resolution paths for multiple issues with an ability to identify appropriate stakeholders.
• Respond to telephone calls, emails and other communications, working to resolve issues and/or directing communications to the appropriate Department or person for resolution or escalation.
• Compile information and issue daily reports reflective of customer-specific requirements.
• Support Sales and Operations in any way necessary to provide the ideal customer experience while always promoting the Company’s Core Values.
• Efficiently and diplomatically communicate and distribute information to various personnel within the Company.
• Utilize software and telephone communications to dispatch drivers from multiple locations throughout the United States.
• Use company van to make deliveries to pace customers when needed.
• Engage in other projects and tasks as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required with college degree or attendance preferred.
• 1 yearor more of dispatch and/or customer service experience is required.
• Experience working in the transportation industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other computer programs.
• Must possess excellent and accurate organizational skills to ensure all work is completed in a timely fashion.
• Outstanding communication skills to clearly articulate at all levels is critical.
