Logistics Firefighter Captain - Escondido, CA

IMMEDIATELY HIRING!Logistics Firefighter Captain FULL-TIMEOpportunity

$22.00-$29.00/ per hour

Capstone Fire is accepting applications from interested qualified personnel for a Logistics Firefighter Captain . The primary worksite location is at Capstone Headquarters in Escondido , CA. This is a permanent pos ition and will be assigned a 40-hour work week .

Job Summary:

Successful applicant will report directly to the Logistics Battalion Chief and will be responsible to provide support in multiple facets of company logistical needs, including but not limited to management of equipment and supplies , administration of policy, systems, and processes .

Applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Must be a high school graduate or possess a GED certificate.
• Valid driver license with acceptable driving record in accordance with Capstone Fire's policy. DUI (Driving Under the Influence) within the last 5 years is disqualifying.
• Available to work overtime as assigned and as needed on an emergency basis.
• Must meet local standards pertaining to qualifications, training and/or eligibility for hiring placement or promotion.
• Computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook;
• Experience in managing multiple programs or projects at one time;
• Excellent organizational, management, and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to troubleshoot, problem solve, and resolve issues with minimal supervision
  

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Equipment

• Track equipment disbursement;
• Manage apparatus equipment inventory, including periodic inventories;
• Maintain equipment as needed;
• Maintain issue/repair/damage/loss records;

• Supply

• Monitor supply levels to ensure proper readiness and support of Operations;
• Input monthly Logistics supply orders;

• Support

• Provide emergency Operations support as required ;
• Other logistical support functions , potentially outside of the area of primary responsibility, as may be necessary to support the Company ;

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Track PPE orders and issuance;
• Manage PPE inventory, size employees, track warranty and recall issues;

• Other Duties

• Asset manager for entire Capstone operation;

• Properly use, document , and report on Procurement Card (P - Card) usage (if assigned) ;
• O riginate purchase requisitions and orders as required ;
• Maintain areas of responsibility in a clean and orderly manner .
