Logistics Program Support Assistant
Position Summary:
Life Cycle Engineering is looking for a driven Logistics to join our Philadelphia, PA office providing support to our management and clients. The Program Support Assistant will regularly interface with LCE management, naval program managers, technical personnel and LCE staff. The selected candidate will be responsible for all programs administrative duties in support of the DMSMS and logistics programs.

Position Summary:
Life Cycle Engineering is looking for a driven Logistics to join our Philadelphia, PA office providing support to our management and clients. The Program Support Assistant will regularly interface with LCE management, naval program managers, technical personnel and LCE staff. The selected candidate will be responsible for all programs administrative duties in support of the DMSMS and logistics programs.
Clearance Requirement:
- Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance level.
- Provide program support for DMSMS (Obsolescence) Program, generate presentations, generate and review technical and program documentation and deliverables
- Perform data entry and report generation via provided front-end in MS Access.
- Support technical working group meetings, schedule meetings and capture meeting minutes, provide action item updates, and follow up correspondence
- Manage administrative support resources as necessary, including copying, faxing, scanning, filing, sorting, mailing, and preparing documents and other correspondence via computer
- Draft word documents, memos, etc. as needed IAW Navy correspondence directives
- Provide support by generating documentation in Word, and entering data into Excel and Power Point. Utilize web based databases for additional information
- Maintain department resources records on personnel phone, email listing, badging, database access, and training status
- Coordinate events from planning stage through to post-function clean-up; organize resources and activities in support of objectives
- Assist other team members with their responsibilities based on volume of work and established priorities
- Organize self and work space to ensure timely completion of assigned duties, accounting for unanticipated support needs and changing priorities
- Merge and separate Adobe files into single file, edit and move pages around, convert files into Adobe PDF.
- Generate presentations based on multiple input from DMSMS stake holders.
- Generate meeting minutes and action items.
- Review Quad Charts and update associated cases in DMS Tracker
- Maintain Employee database access information and act as the point of contact for proper completion of SAR forms
- High school degree or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
- 2 Years Prior DOD Experience either Civilian or Military (Navy Preferred)
- Prior administrative experience within a professional office environment
- High Level of Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (qualified candidates will receive a test) and Power Point
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Adobe; basic understanding of computers, teleconferencing and web meeting requirements, connectivity, and equipment
- Ability to consistently deliver exceptional customer service; must have a warm and approachable personality that quickly establishes a professional rapport with all encountered
- Professional attire and communication skills; must be able to think and act quickly in ways that generate consistently positive outcomes
- High comfort level working with and around all organizational levels, clients, vendors and visitors
- Ability to work as a team player and demonstrate personal initiative to complete the work of the team as a whole
- Must be sensitive to the professional expectations of the business, ensuring a positive impression for all stakeholders
- Must be highly reliable and capable of meeting work schedule consistently
- Demonstrated experience working in a cohesive team.
- Ability to incorporate input from several military and civilian stakeholders and produce a single integrated presentation
- Ability to manage contractual training requirements and ensure compliance by LCE employees
- Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 10 pounds), and standing; occasional prolonged sitting
- Ability to speak, read, hear and write, without assistance
- Ability to use phone and computer systems, copier, fax and other office equipment
