Job Summary

The LBI North Supervisor will ensure that our services are being delivered in a manner that aligns with our purpose and values by effectively managing and holding our teammates accountable.

The LBI North Supervisor is responsible for the overall efficiency and quality of our services in North LBI. He or she is responsible but not limited to staffing, staff preparations, scheduling, brand development and customer satisfaction in the LBI North area.

This position requires 3 days a week on-site and two days a week working from home.

Job Title: Beach Equipment Setup Supervisor (Seasonal)

We are a company that provides a hassle-free beach experience to customers by setting up their beach equipment. We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as Long Beach Island North Beach Supervisor on a seasonal basis.

As the Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the beach equipment setup team during the busy summer months. You will lead a team of beach equipment setup associates to ensure the timely and accurate setup of all equipment.

Location: Long Beach Island

Job Type: Part-time

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of beach equipment setup during the summer months.
  • Train new employees on proper equipment setup procedures and safety protocols.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely setup of all equipment, including umbrellas, chairs, tables and other items.
  • Maintain and inventory all equipment and report any damage or missing equipment to management.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Represent our brand image and core values
  • Assist with scheduling and assigning work to technicians.
  • Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored properly at the end of the day.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical ability to consistently lift up to 30 pounds for duration of shifts
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a customer service or beach equipment setup environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of beach equipment setup procedures and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, during the summer months.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
