Description
You will be joining ARC at an exciting time and filling a key role in developing critical enterprise infrastructure to facilitate and support the development and deployment of machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions to support ARC’s expanding product line.
This is a currently contingent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Take lead on design, development, and deployment of machine learning solutions: you will have a significant role in shaping the architecture we implement.
- Act as primary liaison between data science team and software team, ensuring data and machine learning features are integrated into existing tech stack smoothly
- Assist with version control and artifact storage for experiments and production models
- Develop custom tools as needed to support and optimize machine learning operations
- Develop and maintain performance monitoring and alerting for deployed models
- Develop best practices for optimizing inference in both cloud and edge environments
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field
- 2+ years of experience working in collaborative, version controlled development environment
- 2+ years of experience working with deployed machine learning solutions
- Experience with cloud computing (AWS preferred)
- Proficient with Python (including TensorFlow and sklearn)
- Familiar with containerization
- Problem-solving skills with an understanding of processes and an instinct for optimization
Desired:
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Systems Engineering, or similar field
- Experience designing cloud service machine learning solutions
- Experience with deploying machine learning models to microprocessors
- Understanding of best practices regarding model tracking and lineage
This position will require access to restricted information and facilities protected under U.S. laws and regulations, including the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
