What your role will entail (necessary training provided):

  • Using machines and or hand tools to assemble parts
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and assembly instructions
  • Following detailed procedures and performing quality control checks
  • Communicating and working effectively within a team
  • Maintaining a safe work environment
  • Learning new skills, terminology, equipment and techniques as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

OBJECTIVES:

  • Accountable for safely operating the press brake position.
  • Consistently wear the required PPE per policy.
  • Complete safety audits monthly.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Seek to identify potential hazards and resolve them.
  • Quality-minded with attention to detail.
  • Accurately read measuring equipment: calipers, height gauge, and micrometer.
  • Accurately read and interpret blueprints.
  • Notify appropriate support elements when non-conformances are identified.
  • Competent machine operator
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.
  • Work independently with minimal assistance required once trained.
  • Think critically and demonstrate the ability to understand and set up machines.
  • Organization of area maintaining cleanliness and 5S elements.
  • Exemplifier of our corporate values.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Experience:

  • Machine Operating: 2 years (Preferred)
