Job description
The Machinist will perform precision set-up and machining operations on multiple materials with various manual machines using existing jigs, and fixtures in order to accomplish production machinery functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Several machines have digital read outs. Use various mills, lathes, and other machines, with jig, tool post grinders.
- Operate precision surface grinder.
- Occasionally develops new tooling, jigs, and/or fixtures. Follows tool control policy and procedures including maintenance, preservation, and storage.
- Perform inspection with precision measuring equipment to 0.0002 inch precision. Correctly interprets sketches, blueprints, and engineering details.
- Establish appropriate datums, set ups, layout methods, order of operations, and application of required parts and materials.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
