The Demand Project's residential program at the Mount Arukah campus in Northeast Oklahoma is for female minors who have survived human trafficking, online enticement, and/or commercial sexual exploitation. This role will require confidentiality and an even temperament.

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for making sure the campus runs smoothly. The Campus is nine buildings on a culdesac on a vast acreage of land. The Maintenance Coordinator is not responsible for completing ALL the maintenance, but the person who makes sure that the work is completed in a timely manner, which involves working with contractors, staff, and volunteers. The Maintenance Coordinator reports directly to the CEO.

This is the kind of job where you will do something different each day and involves an ability to communicate effectively and use time efficiently, But there is also a direct care component. The Maintenance Coordinator is a dynamic member of a team of professionals taking care of traumatized children.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of plumbing and septic systems
  • Maintenance experience required; Vast knowledge of facility maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems required.
  • Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations a plus
  • The Maintenance Manager must live in a community nearby. The campus is between Tahlequah and Siloam Springs.

Working hours: Monday through Friday 8am - 12pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
