MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions is a global supplier of industrial metal and plastic finishing chemistries. We primarily design and manufacture chemical systems that protect and decorate surfaces. Job Purpose

In this role you will support the Maintenance Manager in effectively running the maintenance department to ensure production equipment and the building are kept up to the highest extent possible.

Job Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with all supervisory staff, as necessary to coordinate maintenance and other business activities.
• Operate plant equipment within established procedures.
• Follow all plant safety requirements established to protect employees and company assets.
• Perform regularly scheduled maintenance and general repairs of plant utilities and equipment, including but not limited to, the following: air, water, steam, electrical, pumps, motors, fans, filters, agitators, and lift trucks
• Assist in properly maintaining compressors and other utility equipment
• Assist in plumbing, wiring, welding, etc.
• Operate and maintain all tools and equipment, such as drill presses, saws, welders, pipe threaders, etc.
• Assist with snow removal, waste/trash remediation, housekeeping, building repairs, etc.
• Support and maintain 6S activities.
• Manage project expenses within approved budget
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and ensure uptime on all production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance & repair/calibration on key process equipment & systems.
• Provide content for, and submit updates for controlled documentation (PM procedures, check-sheets, work instructions, etc.)
• Safely perform work in a hazardous environment utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (including respirator).
• Engage in systematic troubleshooting to identify root-cause of failures.
• Direct and supervise maintenance activities of outside contractors.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as maintenance supervisor/technician in an industrial / manufacturing setting, preferably in the Chemical Industry
• Hands-on pipe fitting, welding electrical & general equipment repair knowledge & skills
• Pump and mixer repair experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills & computer skills
• Fork Truck operation skills
• Availability off-hours (past 3 pm, weekends) as needed
