Job Summary
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for directly overseeing and coordinating repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance (PM) work on production equipment, and for providing maintenance support to the plant. This includes, but is not limited to, retrofitting, repair maintenance, preventative maintenance, managing maintenance and facilities contracts, installations, and upgrades.
Job Duties

Tactical (80%)
- Provides direct management of maintenance personnel including daily direction, work schedules, discipline, task prioritization and develops employees to achieve and maintain positive working relationships with the maintenance team.
- Oversight of repair and PM work on production equipment such as batching, packaging, and process equipment.
- Oversight of MRO stock items in support of PM and repair schedule and ensures that costs are minimized while providing the highest service level in support of operations.
- Supports process improvement projects.
- Ensures the ready status of idle equipment.
- Supports quality in (HACCP) implementation and ongoing support of the SQF code.
- Adhere to the company’s values regarding loyalty, transparency, inclusiveness, meritocracy and collaboration in daily activities, interactions, and communications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Strategic (20%)
- Works with the Maintenance Technicians to develop a robust and comprehensive spare part requirement list.
- Collaborates with the Director of Engineering to develop spare parts budgets.
- Reports on Maintenance KPI’s as directed.
- Ensure reports have active growth plans and are coached to strengthen developmental areas of opportunity, while also ensuring his/her own succession/growth

Experience and Education
- High School Diploma or GED. BS in Engineering, Business, or Operations related field preferred
- 5+ years previous experience as a maintenance or facility manager
- Experience within Operations and Product Supply in a CM/Food/Bev/CPG industry
- Experience in a High Volume, High SKU, Fast Moving Regulatory Environment
- Working knowledge of Red Zone digital productivity or similar systems preferred
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
