The Maintenance Technician will perform general repairs to the stores.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Performs general plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the store’s equipment and systems.
- Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues.
- Consults blueprints or building plans to identify best solution to resolve systems or equipment issues.
- Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly.
- Performs general cleaning/painting tasks in and outside of the store.
- Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
- Projects that require remodeling of stores and construction projects
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, twist, reach above head & below knees, squat and safely climb a ladder/step stool
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds at a time.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repair.
- Ability to read blueprints, building plans, and repair manuals.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent time management skills.
