**Salary Pay is between $52,000-64,000. Will travel for10 days a time and will come back and have 4 days off before being sent out again**

Job Description

Maximize system performance and up-time through effective execution of all maintenance-related activities.

Must be flexible on shifts. Will be travelling initially and will have to adapt to the sites they visit. Once back you will be adapting to the shifts that AWG sets up (could be 2-2-3 or "front half/back half" Sun-Wed/Wed-Sat style. Or could be Mon-Fri. Won’t know until closer to October.)


Participate in a broad array of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision.

Support Production Team through basic fault correction coaching and troubleshooting.

Assist in the installation of new or refurbishment of existing system components.

Facilitate continuous improvement activities through broad system knowledge and site-specific enhancements.


Top Skills' Details

  • Strong electrical (3-Phase, 480V, DC and, 24V controls) and mechanical skills
  • Familiarity with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears)
  • Familiarity with control technology (PLC /controls/inverters)
  • Knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring
  • Comfort working with wide assortment of computer systems (Microsoft Office Suite, proprietary system monitoring programs, etc.)
  • Ability to work in team environment


Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must be able to work all shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Mandatory overtime may be required due to operational requirements.

TRAVEL: For the first 6 months while the plant is finishing being built/installed; will be training in facilities across the US. (Lansing, MI; Dayton, OH; Pleasant Prairie, WI; Atlanta, GA; Tulsa, OK; Aurora, CO; etc.) at other sites. Will receive per diem (59-74/day depending on site/cost per living), will be given all flight instructions, hotel accommodations, rental cars or transportation options by the company as well as normal salary. Once site is up and running late October/early November candidates will be back full time in Hernando. Some may be back sooner.

Heights are involved. May have to go up as far as 80ft if working on a malfunctioning crane. Will have harnesses and training for this.

There are 3 areas with different temperatures. Some are standard temp controlled; some refrigeration (32-34 degrees) and some freezer (-15 degrees) will be provided freezer suits and a shift diff when in this area (rotates areas so wouldn’t ever be in there all day)

Candidates that are not as strong could enter as operator candidates! If straight out of industrial maintenance school $22/hr; would start as operator...and have ability to learn and move up. Eagerness and self-motivation will determine how quickly they move up.

Work Environment

All new automated equipment that EVERYONE will be training on. This equipment will not be found at other sites locally; so ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, electrically inclined, and eager to learn new equipment with a great attitude. Temp controlled.
