Reporting to the Director, Global Solutions Delivery, the Domain Architect Manager will be part of a diverse, highly talented, multi-disciplinary team that acts as the steward of corporate applications, provides functional domain expertise, monitors the applications supporting the business areas under their responsibility and delivers programs across business units and regions.
A proven approach to creating innovative solutions while mitigating program/project risk is key, as is the ability to communicate clearly with senior leadership and project teams alike. The person in this role will demonstrate strong experience with Human Resources, Finance and other Corporate business functions and technologies, end to end thinking, digital acumen and will ensure proper linkages to the digital strategies of business units and corporate functions.
This leader will provide program/project governance, project/product team direction and coordination, driving consistency and quality of outcomes while ensuring initiatives are delivered on time and on budget. Will work directly with business and IT leadership to define approaches to develop business cases, track and deliver KPIs and deliver expected outcomes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
System portfolio management
Analyze assigned system portfolios, confirm the scope within BPT support and take ownership.
Provide governance for system changes within the capability domain.
Own the technology solutions for the capability domain implemented by various projects.
Analyze support, change, customer service satisfaction to determine to health of the system portfolio. Identify capability improvement opportunities.
Manage Run costs / license cost for finance application portfolio managed by BPT.
Support technology roadmaps with domain expertise for continuous capability innovations.
Provide domain expertise support for critical incidents escalation.
Manages run budget with the capability domain
Project Portfolio management
Act as project portfolio advisor with domain expertise and manage project portfolios along with the program or project managers.
Responsible for monitoring the progress and health of the project portfolio for the capability domain, document and escalate issues and risks as necessary.
Ensure the Portfolio of projects is moving at the expected pace, with the expected levels of quality, and within the set budgets.
Talent & Organization management
Build, develop and lead teams and rally the organization around the vision.
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business, relevant/related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
10 + years professional program management experience exemplified by at least 3 or more full life-cycle projects and 2 or more global projects
7 + years of demonstrated experience and ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with senior executives
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Self-starter who works with minimal supervision, a natural leader with strong work ethic
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good understanding of Applications management processes and technical capabilities/applications/tools
ITIL v4 and PMP certification preferred
Ability to manage ambiguity, problem solve and implement/modify program/project control processes and/or metrics as needed to ensure target outcomes are achieved
Experience and familiarity with Agile methodology and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Experience in SDLC and IT governance and working knowledge of IT outsourcing models and governance including Cloud, Managed Services, Strategic Sourcing partnerships
