Job description

This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the preparation of the required quarterly SEC filings (10Ks and 10Qs) for the consolidated Tenet Healthcare Corporation, including the additional required XBRL filings, as well as coordinating the extensive review process for these documents and ensuring their timely filing with the SEC.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or closely related field
  • Minimum 10 years Accounting/Finance experience within a large corporation, accounting organization or financial institution
  • Superior software knowledge including Excel and Word
  • Ability to effectively interact with key reviewers including those at the VP level and above
  • Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements
  • Soft skills in influencing others on deadlines related to information needed from other departments
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects from beginning to end, often working overtime to complete projects and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills

Preferred:

  • CPA strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with Workiva and/or similar filing software
  • Familiarity with SEC XBRL rules
