About the Job
CHANEL is looking for a Sales Planner to join our Watches and Fine Jewelry (WFJ) Merchandizing and Planning Team in New York. You will play a leading role in translating the strategic vision of our Division into business plans and sales budgets and in monitoring the performance of our boutiques and our external partners. This role interfaces with finance and is a key partner for our sales teams. Our ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience and a passion for numbers with a strong analytical mindset.
What impact you can create at CHANEL:
- Build and regularly update the sales budgets by channel and product category, in collaboration with Sales Teams and Finance
- Monitor boutiques and wholesale accounts performance
- Partner with Merchandising and Inventory Management to align Product Forecast with Financial Sales target and to calibrate assortments and replenishment orders (MBR)
- Coordinate the building of the MTP yearly update for Sales by channel and product category
- Provide high-level analyses and business reports including strategic recommendations to maximize sales and profitability

- Strong Communication and relationship building
- Systems knowledge and ease working closely with IT to adjust systems as needed to support the business
- Strong knowledge in retail math, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
- Detail oriented with organizational and problem-solving skills, on top of a strong sense of service
- PowerBI knowledge is a plus

The anticipated base salary range for this position is 64,200-110,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other components [may/will] include additional compensation, benefits and perks.
