Job Description:
- Leads Procurement and Supply Chain Staff in developing, processing, reviewing and submitting compliant SCM material and labor estimates for domestic and international pursuits
- Leads the team in expediting the Material Proposal Process through expediting and updating supplier quotations in L3H ERP systems.
- As assigned, expedites open supplier orders to ensure the on time delivery of direct and indirect materials, including the updating of supplier promise dates within the ERP system, and notifying the assigned Buyer(s) of any supplier issues or delays.
- Leads team in all necessary activities to deliver competitive and compliant responses to customer proposal requests.
- Builds favorable relationships with the Business Development, Program Management and Engineering functions
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and internal stakeholders to meet program needs as required
- Coaches and develops a team of Procurement and SCM professionals
- Maintains accurate and auditable records while setting material EAC values and CMLs
- Demonstrated understading of Material Management, Procurment, Supply Chain Program Management and Subcontract Management work streams to accurately reflect labor hours within pursuits
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
- Knowledge in FAR/DFAR compliance, procurement, supply chain, and proposal management processes.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- PMP Certification
- Knowledge of EVMS principles
- SCPM or APICS Certification
- Yellow, Green or Blackbelt Certification
