POSITION SUMMARY
The primary focus of the Member Experience Manager (MXM) is onboarding every new member and ensuring members are receiving the services included in their membership as well as driving the revenue of the personal training department. The MXM reaches out to ensure members are progressing toward their goals. In order to understand the needs of the members they serve, the MXM is also a certified personal trainer. They also may help acquire leads through community outreach, referrals, social media, and email, phone and walk-in inquiries. They also may help the membership staff with sales, when needed, with such duties as booking appointments through outbound calls, emails and text and enroll new members.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction and supervision of the Club Director
- Primary Focus: Member onboarding - meet with each new member, using motivational interviewing and functional assessments to help them set their goals and prescribe the best program for the member to reach those goals
- Secondary Focus: Membership sales – new member acquisition through direct 1-1 sales, outbound marketing, business partnership building, community outreach
- Personal Training - as needed, follow our program design to run Semi-Private Training and Team Training sessions
- Brand promoters – when you love your gym, others will too. The MXM helps the Club Director establish relationships with businesses in the community to promote the brand through B2B marketing. This person also helps coordinate and execute engagement campaigns, national marketing campaigns, and community outreach efforts using assets and operations created by the Anytime Fitness corporate teams.
- Day-to-day operators – MXM will also take on some club operations tasks daily [running reports, data entry, answering phones/email/digital leads, cleaning, etc.]
- Eager learners - be willing to participate in online workshops, participate in book studies, attend seminars that may require some travel, be fluid (as the industry itself is ever-changing, so is the brand)
- Culture creators – MXMs love creating an environment that inspires members and guests to share their positive experiences with friends and family. They deliver top-notch customer service and aim to improve the lives of each person they meet.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 18 years or older
- Friendly, energetic, outgoing and warm
- Competent with, or willing to learn, Motivational Interviewing
- Genuine and honest with a strong desire to help others
- Available to work flexible hours [mornings, afternoons, evenings, Saturdays, community events]
