Job description

This is a new position to support Liberty Coating Company’s manufacturing processes. The position will conduct production capacity, capital, and resource planning and analysis. The position will interact with all departments in the company, and needs to be able to communicate effectively both goals and results of analytical efforts. The position will be key to assist the company with expected increasing growth.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.

· Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs

· Optimize WIP and process improvements

· Communicates to business unit , peers, internal customers, and outside vendors

· Presents to senior leaders regarding strategy, delivery status, etc.

· Works on cross-functional projects / teams to improve metrics, shop efficiency, and delivery for the overall business

· Work with Sales team to determine product quotations

· Work with Finance team on reporting and analysis functions to determine ROI for capital decisions

· Work with Technical & production teams to monitor & analyze quality standards

· Supervise hourly Union team members where necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Manufacturing/Supply Chain Analysis)

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Materials Planning, or Manufacturing Finance

Desired Characteristics:

· Demonstrated experience with master planning and production scheduling

· Understanding of MRP/ERP systems

· Understanding of production metrics, financials, and operating rhythms

· Demonstrated examples of process improvement and change management

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

· Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact

· Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously

· Effective problem identification and solution skills

· Proven analytical and organizational ability

· Strong MS excel skills, and familiarity with other software programs (Oracle etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
