Responsibilities:

Overview: The role of a Quality Analyst is to support quality in line with the site KPI’s and lead improvement projects as per company’s programs and needs. In this context, the QA Analyst is involved in the qualification process, responsible for quality improvement actions, supporting with data analysis and reporting on results and trends. To succeed in this mission, the Quality Analyst needs to build collaborative links internally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Production teams on a daily basis to support and drive projects.


Responsibilities
:

  • Actively participate and sustain all 5S activities and routine;
  • Report findings based on statistical evidence and trending;
  • Propose and benchmark best practices with other sites and corporate;
  • Steer improvement plan for new or existing products and process;
  • Participate in and/or lead problem-solving activities, lessons learned, P-FMEA and other process improvement tools (Control Plan, SPC, SIPOC, DMAIC, Kaizen, etc.);
  • Plan and monitor appropriate actions and propose improvement in the processes according to the monitoring level determined for internal KPI’s;
  • Provide the necessary data to enable continuous improvement actions as needed;
  • Ensure proper quality procedures are implemented (proper controls, frequency and tools) and monitor results;
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of department procedures and standard work. Assist in training personnel and ensure that employees received updated training in work instructions and procedures;
  • Support and understanding of ISO 9001 and 14001,PCI and any other specifications and requirements;
  • Assist the supervisor to maintain workflow in the department and to coordinate department functions with the production schedule and projects execution
Qualifications:
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures;
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills;
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisor and co-workers;
  • Persuasive and clear communication skills;
  • Logical thinking, rigorousness and accuracy at data analysis;
  • Knowledge and practice in problem-solving and project management;
  • Experience from the Smart Card industry will be a plus
