Job Title: Manufacturing Tech / Assembler
Pay Rate: $17/Hr
Duration: 5 Months
Location: Alpharetta, GA

Shift: AM

Note: Must pass a background check and drug test with minimum education qualification of High School Diploma

This position is for the Power/Energy division.

We are looking for Manufacturing Tech / Assembler.

OVERVIEW

  • Our facility focuses on power plant distributed control panel assemblies in Alpharetta, GA with engineering, project management, and test departments on site.
  • The plant focuses on complete cabinet assembly and test of Nuclear and Fossil SPPA-T3000 power plant control systems for greenfield and modernization projects.
  • We have also branched out into generator protection systems, battery storage systems, and transmission control assemblies when needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location
  • Delivering materials to production operators
  • Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked and provide management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped and received
  • Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensure all goods are in excellent condition
  • Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management
  • Accurately maintain company database including all stock and warehouse items
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
  • Ability to read electrical schematic and sub-panel mechanical layout drawings along with other production/manufacturing instructions to assemble a complete electrical control cabinet.
  • Ability to resolve complex manufacturing problems and participates in troubleshooting activities with Manufacturing Leads on control panel assemblies
  • Upholds all applicable codes, standards, and manufacturing workmanship guidelines on panel assemblies.
  • Participates and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Helps develop estimates of requirements arising from process changes
  • Must be able to interface and communicate effectively with the manufacturing team and hardware engineering to ensure the completion of tasks and projects.
  • Ensures manufacturing Safety supporting Zero Harm Culture (ZHC).

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND BACKGROUND

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 to 5 years experienced with Control Panel Manufacturing
  • Good understanding on electrical schematics
  • Must demonstrate good safety and quality practices.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work overtime and alternate shifts as needs arise.
  • Ability to work independently; follows written and oral instructions; good communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with team members at all levels.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

Salary: Up to $17.00 per hour
