Job Summary
The Marketing Analyst is responsible for day-to-day project management for marketing data projects and analysis. The Marketing Analyst will work with the internal marketing strategy and media teams, internal Purple stakeholders, vendors, and analysts from contracted agencies to accomplish the work.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, administer, and analyze experiments run in our media buys- audience targeting and creative optimization recommendations etc.

Use analytical and statistical analysis to evaluate the viability of test ideas, including evaluation of sample sizes, minimum detectable effect, and duration.

Be an advisor on testing best practices and an advocate for increasing the breadth and depth of experimentation.

Help build, prioritize, and maintain a testing and reporting roadmap.

Maintain and build internal reporting for the media and marketing strategy teams.

Utilize web analytics skills to deep dive into test results, finding additional behavioral trends and insights beyond the primary metric of the test.

Document experiment details and insights.

Create and share presentations about test results, insights, and recommendations.

Differentiate between what is known, what can be inferred, and what cannot be inferred from test results.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments throughout each phase of a test.

Develop and maintain positive, professional relationships with the internal team, vendors, and agency partners.

Build and demonstrate knowledge of industry, competitors and markets.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
-
3 + years previous experience in analyst role, marketing or web analytics preferred.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage others, although not direct reports
-
Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment and independently.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Excellent presentation and collaborative skills.
-
Strong knowledge of SQL and dashboarding tools.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, Snowflake and Looker preferred.

Experience designing, administering, and analyzing A/B tests highly preferred.
