Job description
I. SUMMARY:
Establish, analyze and maintain an attainable level of finished inventory by scheduling production and assembly lines and component deliveries. Work with plant production personnel and customers on daily basis to have ideal flow of materials available for production.
II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Additional duties as needed and assigned.
- Review sales in order to forecast product levels. Provide necessary metrics for tracking actual sales to forecast.
- Set schedule and communicate it to appropriate personnel
- Review finished goods inventory levels and maintain a workable level to ensure that all shipments can be made to customer
- Review component inventory level and maintain workable level to ensure production can be completed without interruption
- Work with shipping department to verify accuracy of shipments
- Communicate with customer to ensure satisfaction of shipments

- ISO experience
- Strong SAP or similar program experience
- Good understanding of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational skills, complete multiple tasks and attention to detail
- Self-starter
V. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma and 4 years of planning experience
- College degree (with 1 or more years planning experience)
VI. LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Strong analytical skills, initiative, judgment and problem-solving ability.
IX. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is required to stand, walk, lift, and sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Requires sitting at a desk for up to 4 hours at a time
- Requires ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Occasionally requires ability to work in non-conditioned plant and warehouse in hot or cold conditions. Must be able stand for up to 4 hours at a time when in this situation
- Reports to Materials Manager
- Will work primarily with Tier 1 and OEM Customers.
- Will work closely with Buyers, Warehouse Supervision and personnel, Production Manager and Supervisors.
- Will communicate with CEO and Operations Manager on a regular basis
- Has regular communication through email, phone, and fax with various suppliers and customers
