Kellis Vegetation Management is searching for an experienced applicant to join our team in Columbiana as a diesel mechanic! We perform vegetation control for a wide variety of clients and we highly value family, integrity, and teamwork. Below is a little bit about what we offer our employees.

Diesel Mechanic

Perform preventative maintenance, component replacements, and troubleshoot issues with our fleet of diesel trucks and other heavy equipment. Must replace tires, install brakes, and complete electrical and safety inspections.

Job duties include:

· Maintain, inspect, and repair truck systems such as fuel, engine, transmissions, electrical, brakes, steering, A/C, and tires.

· Utilize forklift and company vehicles to unload, stock, and pick up parts from local vendors.

· Complete necessary paper and digital documentation for repairs and preventative maintenance.

· Transport trucks to and from various locations around town as needed.

· Communicate with administrative staff concerning paperwork for purchasing and selling vehicles, i.e licenses and tags.

· Communicate with field technicians about issues they’ve seen throughout the day in order to stay on top of repairs or preventative maintenance.
