Our client located in the Northwest Metro Suburbs of Minneapolis is looking to add to their team a Two Mechanical Assemblers and Two Electro Mechanical Assemblers due to continued growth. Mechanical Assembler – 1st Shift (8:00-5:00) 2 openings
· High School Diploma or GED
· Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and skills (someone who works on cars or builds cabinets, and has the mindset of wanting to figure out how things work would be a good fit.)
· We realize that what we do in this department is unique, and any new employee will have to be trained. So, the drive and willingness to learn is an important attribute.
· Pay range of $20-$24/hour based on skills and experience.
· OT is consistently available
· We may be able to offer some flexibility in the schedule after a training period
The Mechanical Assembler fits and assembles components according to assembly blueprints, manuals, engineering memos, sketches and knowledge of machine construction to construct, rebuild, and repair machines and equipment, using manual tools and power tools.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, including working knowledge of pneumatics and electrical controls. We are looking for someone who likes to “tinker” and problem solve. Great attention to detail and inquisitiveness are necessary.

Electro-Mechanical Assembler (2 openings) on First shift
· Pay range is $19.00 to $22.00 per hour, based on experience
· High School Diploma or GED
· 1 year of relevant assembly experience required
· Low voltage wiring experience is a plus
· Experience with basic hand tools, air tools, wire cutters and soldering
· Must be able to read and interpret color-coded schematics
· OT is consistently available, including Saturdays (optional)
NOTE: 1st shift is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Some flexibility on start time)
This position involves small, fine motor, detailed assembly work. This person will be assembling the plates, and placing the probes based on project schematics. Each job is unique in its own way as all projects are specific to customer needs. With continued training and growth, additional tasks, including wire wrapping, will be added.
