Job Summary
The Mechanical Engineer will be assigned tasks relating to the design of mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection infrastructure in heavy industrial environments, within wastewater and water treatment and pumping facilities.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Education: BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Experience: 0-5 years' experience in mechanical (HVAC, plumbing and fire protection) design and related energy design. Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection design using 3D design software such as AutoCAD MEP or Revit desired.
Licensure: EIT is preferred. PE license is expected for candidates over 4+ years' experience.
Proficiency in Word, Excel and design load calculation and energy modeling programs (Trace orHAP, ComCheck) required. Additional proficiencies in PowerPoint, AutoCAD, CAD data models, and computational fluid dynamic modeling are a plus.
