MED-SURG NURSE MANAGER

The nurse manager is responsible for the provision of high quality and cost effective patient care in fulfilling Cherokee Regional Medical Center’s mission. The Nurse Manager assumes 24 hour administrative responsibility for the management of all nursing service functions within the Med/Surg-Telemetry department. This individual is accountable for establishing productive work relationships with the medical staff, support department and is responsive to community needs. The nurse manager provides leadership by maintaining standards for clinical practice, ensuring the fulfillment of hospital goals and providing management expertise for the development of the patient care staff.
POSITION:
- Full-time, 40 hour position
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of approved school of nursing.
- BSN preferred.
- Current RN Licensure in State of Iowa.
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 5-years clinical experience with previous management experience preferred.
