Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking a full-time talented, dependable Media Ads Buyer to contribute to the continued success of our company by supporting TVP through testing, monitoring, and analysis of ad campaigns. We’re looking for someone with experience with multiple ad platforms and a data-driven mindset—someone who knows how to interpret data from analytic tools and make intelligent decisions based on the information.
As an ad buyer, you’ll be responsible for setting up and managing ads on the following platforms: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google AdWords, TikTok, and other channels that fit our brand’s needs. You’ll work with our team of designers to create ads consistent with what we’re trying to accomplish—and then create campaigns using the ads to reach our customers in the most effective way possible.
You will own the entire paid media aspect of the company and continually help with growth, plan, and manage a budget while constantly testing creative ad offers.
To ensure success, you will have an advanced understanding of audiences, tracking, and attribution models. A typical day will include working with the team to identify the weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets. Monitoring daily KPIs, managing ad spending, troubleshooting campaigns, creating insights about performance, analyzing the data as it comes in, and adjusting fire to campaigns in real-time.

What is Expected of You:
- Create and implement effective media buying strategies across all acquisition channels
- Continually monitor and hit KPIs provided and make optimizations as needed
- Help lead the creative team on what ads are working and what is needed next
- Proactively provide updates to the Marketing Manager regarding any changes impacting the acquisition
- Collaborate with teams on new and exciting ways to bring more awareness about the Mission to all channels
- Continually test and track new ideas to improve performance
What You Need to Succeed:
- 4+ years of media buying experience in managing performance-based ad campaigns
- Strong analytic skills are a must
- Desire to work in a dynamic, high-change environment
- Experience working with a spending budget of over 150k/mo on ads
- Comfortable managing various platforms such as Facebook Ads, Instagram, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Tiktok
- Effectively utilizes critical thinking and detail orientation skills.
- Proven ability to strategize user acquisition campaigns, including research, implementation, and optimization
- Clear and professional communication through email, messenger, and phone with both co-workers and partners
- Continued desire to learn the industry, advertising trends, and tools and confidence to seek the information necessary to succeed
- Experience with software trackings like Hyros and Triple Whale
- Proficient at managing multiple accounts and able to organize, prioritize and structure workload
- Resiliency; respond well to constructive feedback
- Self-directed in both working and learning, independent, well-organized, detail-oriented, and a responsible team player
Plus, if you also have:
- Experience with copywriting is a huge plus
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere
- Veteran/Military background a plus
