Functional Medicine Medical Assistant for Dr. Sarah Washatka, D.O - Tulsa, OK

Medical Assistant will perform select patient and administrative duties assisting provider with excellent customer service and patient care.

Overview:

• Patient Records
• Patient Care management
• Customer service
• Data Entry
• Payment Collection
• Referrals

Responsible for:

• Scheduling Patient Appointments
• Collecting accurate patient information and registration
• Greeting and welcoming patients
• Efficient flow of appointments
• Prepare, review, and maintain patient medical records
• Assisting provider by taking vitals, charting, preparing tests, supplements and providing patient with instructions, injections, labs, tests
• Timely Follow Ups
• Accurate check out of patient charges and printing any necessary documents
• Screening Patient questions and calls for provider

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and common medical instruments.
• Skilled in the taking of vital signs.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced setting
• Attention to detail and organization
• Uphold policies, procedures and protocols

Skills/Education:

Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent

Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or comparative medical training.

Must be able to draw blood and perform injections.

Experience working as a medical assistant or other similar role/position in health and wellness

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
