Orchid Dermatology is looking for an enthusiastic, skilled, part-time/full-time medical assistant to work closely with medical providers in a busy, expanding dermatology practice with offices located in East Manatee County and Sarasota County. An ideal candidate must be able to multi-task, have excellent team work skills and demonstrate patient compassion. Computer skills / EMR experience a must. Experience needed in general/surgical dermatology. Only qualified candidates will be considered. Great benefits package including health insurance, 401k (full-time) and PTO.
No Medical Assistant/LPN schooling necessary, will provide Certified Dermatology Tech online course.
Job duties include:
- Rooming patients
- EMR documentation (EMA preferred)
- Preparing lab specimens
- Assisting with office procedures/surgery
- Prepare for biopsies
- Instructing patients on proper care following procedures
- Suture removals, dressing changes
- Assisting with calling patients with pathology results
- DERM experience is preferred. Only qualified candidates will be considered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
