Job description

This position is ideal for a medical professional interested in integrative & internal medicine, urology or oncology! The successful Medical Assistant will be responsible for administrative duties, including scheduling appointments and handling insurance claims, and must be able to communicate effectively with patients and other medical professionals. Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred, but not required. This position offers excellent advancement opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Draw blood
• Take vitals
• Front office
• Billing
• Acoustic wave therapy
• Administer prescribed medications to patients.
• Assess patient condition based on symptoms and physical examination.
• Perform urology, ED -related procedures.
• Prepare exam rooms and equipment in accordance with health care provider's instructions.
• Explain examination procedures and treatment recommendations to patients.
• Prepare specimens and analyze laboratory tests.
• Order laboratory tests, medical supplies, and medications.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Per diem, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
