Job Title: Medical Device Education Training Manager
Pay Rate: $50 to 59/Hr
Duration: 2 Months
Location: Orange County, CA (100% Onsite)
Our Client is a Global Medical Device Manufacturer.
We are looking for a Medical Device Education Training Manager
- Ensure that professional education activities are executed within all applicable compliance and regulatory guidelines
- Plan and execute customer training courses for the business unit with a high level of quality
- Manage all logistical, creative, and editorial components from inception to course wrap-up
- Lead collaboration with the business unit leadership to identify professional clinical education needs
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with the faculty team
- Act as the liaison between internal stakeholders, participants, and Medical Education faculty
- Measure the effectiveness of educational programs/tools, resources, and programs through the collection, analysis, reporting, and utilization of data and event feedback
- Assess objective achievement for educational programs and revise/adjust future training programs
- Partner with all levels of Professional Education staff and other related functions across clients to develop and lead the execution of educational programs for healthcare providers and internal product training/sales training
- Lead the execution and development of assigned product/program-related training content and tools, including all aspects of education program delivery, while utilizing creativity and judgment to assure training tools are in compliance with Legal, Regulatory/Quality, and AdvaMed requirements and achieving clients desired business goals
- Collaborate cross-functionally on the creation of product/program training content, implementation, and sustaining product use issues
- Create educational content and leverage content across multi-media tools to ensure clarity for regions where English is a second language o Drive EW global product education program(s) to ensure proper utilization of products, and best procedural outcomes (Box, Procedural Videos, WebEx, On-Site training, etc.)
- Ensure proper content is updated and available throughout product lifecycle-related training o Establish and maintain good business relationships/partnerships with key KOL physicians and regional prof Ed teams
- Measure the effectiveness of educational tools, resources, and programs through conduct post-meeting survey instruments, focus groups, and other market research and providing monthly analytics.
- Provide status reports on professional education programs to the manager as requested.
Skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Proven expertise in MS Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills
- Substantial knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to strategic event planning
- Substantial knowledge of regulatory and AdvaMed
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational level
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work in a team environment, working closely with the global marketing team, key opinion leaders, and regional sales managers
- Develop the ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on assigned projects
- Ability to be creative, prioritize, plan work activities and use time efficiently
- Ability to independently set and manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Capacity for problem-solving such as anticipating, initiating and resolving customer or vendor issues
- Ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of the AdvaMed Code of Ethics on Interactions with Health Care Professionals, and the Physician Payment Sunshine Ac
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Medical Device sales and/or Marketing experience is desired
- Minimum of 1 year working with outside vendors/partners
- Availability for domestic travel to support engagements
- Previous experience in managing Professional Education programs/events
- Prior experience in project management roles (or similar)
