Being a Member Service Associate starts by building relationships that are founded on people, cooperation, service and trust and it is fundamental in how we distinguish ourselves in the financial services industry. As the face of the organization, you serve a critical role by providing exceptional service to all credit union and community members, volunteers, employees, and service providers.
As a Member Service Associate you will be responsible for a variety of tasks:
- Provide exceptional member service to all Members, volunteers, internal employees, and service providers.
- Explain products and services to Members to meet their needs. Cross-sells RCU, RCU Investment Services, RCU Insurance Services and RCU Auto Services products and services.
- Establish basic products and services for Members.
- Provide information to Members’ questions or directs them to the appropriate person or department for assistance.
- Safeguard Member information and ensure confidentiality by following established policy and procedures.
- Complete Members’ transactions accurately and efficiently using established policies and procedures.
- Balance cash, checks, and maintain proper documentation.
The ideal candidate:
Has a combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma.
6+ months experience in a retail sales / cash handling environment.
Strong multitasker and collaborator who prefers to work in a team environment.

Our base salary starting range is based on scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal peer equity. We offer a competitive total rewards package including a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
Compensation: base starting range $ 21.00 to $ 26.00 per hour commensurate with experience.
