Membership representative - Part time

Anytime Fitness Papillion is seeking a friendly, responsible individual with a passion for helping others improve their lives through health and fitness. Industry experience is not required, but first-rate people skills and a self-motivated work ethic are! Work in a fun, upbeat atmosphere where every day is different.

*Important: This position requires making sales calls and meeting with potential members to sell memberships to our club.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, & Expectations:

A good candidate will enjoy working in a health club environment, have a friendly personality, and genuinely care about helping others. We require someone who is upbeat, friendly and what we call "remarkably personable"!

• Effectively work without supervision and be self motivated.
• Multi-tasking - Ability to work and execute tasks while acknowledging members.
• Sell memberships to inquiring members.
• Answer phone calls and club emails.
• Set appointments.
• Perform follow-up functions (calls, emails, texts) to members and prospects.
• Picking up around the club and cleaning.
• Stocking merchandise when needed.
• Collect and enter payments from members.
• Count the till and account for money coming into the club.
• Get to know the members.
• Other projects as assigned.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Membership Sales

Will meet with guests to show them our club, explain our culture, describe features and benefits of specific pieces of equipment, inform them of club rules and deliver our value proposition around training programs and membership.

Maintenance and cleaning

We pride ourselves on being the cleanest club in the area and exceeding anyone's expectations. Pride in the cleanliness of the club and daily cleaning routines are a critical part of the job. Some lite equipment maintenance will be needed occasionally.

Staffed Hours: Times will be shared between staff

Staffed Hours are Mon-Thurs 10-2 & 4-6; Fri-Sat 10-2.

Primary hours for this position will be Monday - Thursday 10am - 2pm. Some evening and weekend work may be required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
