High School education or equivalent;
Ability to read, write and converse in the English language; and adequate physical ability, including sufficient manual dexterity to perform the requisite health care services.

Experience:

Approximately six months on the job training to become proficient in all the position’s duties and responsibilities.
Preference will be given to those having inpatient behavioral health experience.

License & Certifications:

WA AACR required within 6 months of hire
Must maintain current BCLS certification

Perform selected patient care activities under the general supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Frequently performs/provides patient care duties and assists patients with general hygiene as delegated by the RN
Continuously interacts with patients/significant others as a member of the interdisciplinary team
Frequently provides support for the patient's therapeutic treatment plan.
Completes progress notes on assigned patients per program and hospital policy.
Frequently observes and records patient information pertinent to treatment plan and reports this information to the RN
Performs other related work as required.
