Millwright / Welder - Aluminum Recycling

LOCATION: NEW CANEY, TEXAS

Company Overview

Levitated Metals owns and operates a recycling facility in New Caney, a suburb of Houston. Levitated uses a proven density flotation technology to separate aluminum from other metals produced by the scrap metal industry. Its fast-paced, startup culture focuses on safety, product quality and environmental responsibility.

Our place in the supply chain is between large scrap metal shredding operations and the global aluminum smelting and castings business. We take a non-ferrous byproduct of steel shredding (Zorba) and use heavy media flotation to create a high-purity aluminum feedstock (Twitch) for the castings industry.

We’ve been operating the factory for two years very successfully, and have earned a reputation for quality and customer service. We are growing the team to achieve our goal of being a first class manufacturing organization. This role is fundamental to our ability to grow and be best-in-class.
