This position is for a Morning Meat & Produce Associate.

Hours are 5am - 2pm, Tuesday to Friday, and either Saturday OR Sunday availability.

Meat & Produce Associate Skills and Responsibilities:

• Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers throughout the facility
• Training with certified team associates to enhance and develop skills; and providing feedback concerning business area issues or needs.
• Follows company policies and procedures for preparing, handling, packaging, labeling, and storing food; operating and sanitizing food-related equipment; stocking and displaying/merchandising food products; and maintaining and cleaning assigned departments.
• Maintains the fresh area by following company policies and procedures for preparing, handling, packaging, labeling, and storing food; culling produce to ensure quality; operating and sanitizing food-related equipment according to food safety and compliance regulations.
• Follow guidelines for wrapping, dating, labeling, and storing merchandise; ensuring list of ingredients and sell-by dates are visible and accurate
• Stock and display food products; removing damaged or out-of-date goods; receiving, sorting, staging, and delivering merchandise.

Work Environment Working in the following environment is necessary to perform one or more of the essential functions of this position:

• Works in areas requiring exposure to varying temperatures, extreme heat or cold, and/or wet, damp, or drafty conditions.
• Moves over slippery surfaces in the work area as well as other areas that may become slippery during inclement weather.
