Caring family located in Carmel Valley (San Diego), seeking a dedicated and doting care provider for their infant daughter (Born late Dec 2022) and occasional care for 3.5yo son. Family is seeking someone who walks into their home with a great attitude and a loving, happy disposition. The ideal candidate is someone high energy, active and able to adjust their methods of care in ways that stimulate positive development, as the child grows.

Schedule:

  • M and Tu 7am-12noon 5 hours each
  • Wed, Thurs, Fri 7 am- 5 pm 10 hours each Guarantee 40 hours a week

Pay: $28-$32/hr OT starts after 9 hours in a day @ $42 an hour

Must be an experienced candidate who will care for their son as their own. They are looking for someone who will provide a safe and loving environment for their child. In addition to childcare, the role will require light household duties like, but not limited to: light tidying and laundry, tidying of play areas the child will occupy, and cleaning bottles as needed. Must also be knowledgeable of safe sleep practices for infants and toddlers.

  • Primary responsibilities - Above all else, must be able to create an attentive and loving environment for the child. You must have an in-depth knowledge of child development and stages of growth. You must be capable of maintaining a routine schedule for a baby, especially one centered around feeding.

Duties:

  • Light Laundry for kids
  • Light tidying of main areas, and play areas child will occupy
  • Maintain a feeding schedule for baby
  • Adhere to a sleeping schedule for baby
  • Preparing and cleaning bottles
  • Able to adjust diet as baby grows (i.e introducing new foods, as diet will expand as child grows)
  • Play centered around sensory play and development of gross motor skills (i.e tummy time) Healthy and active - must take little one out on walks, outside/backyard play and parks as he grows

Must Haves:

  • COVID Vaccinated
  • Open to getting Tdap and Flu shot if hired
  • CPR & First Aid training, current
  • Clean driving record, no DUI or DWI Non-Smoker 3+ years of nanny experience
  • 3+ years of Newborn/Infant
  • Be able to provide 3 - 5 supervisory references
