Mountain Operations/Snowmaking - Seasonal Position 2022-2023 - Timberline Mountain

Mountain operation team members/snowmakers are responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and snowmaking on the mountain. Team members will run a manual snowmaking system and must be willing to work in all weather conditions. Along with making snow, team members will perform light maintenance and repairs on equipment, remove snow around snowmaking equipment and other areas around the resort as needed.

Working safely in close proximity to heavy equipment, high voltage, and high-water pressure is required. PPE will be provided and required for your safety. Team members are responsible for maintaining all safety barriers, padding, and guards around snowmaking equipment.

Team members should have a love for the outdoors, a desire to learn, and a commitment to excellent service. Knowledge of basic machinery, including pumps and compressed air, and operating heavy machinery is a plus. Good communication skills and the ability to accurately follow instructions are required. Also must be able to lift 50 lbs. The Timberline Mountain staff works as a team, so you may also assist other departments as needed.

Night shift opportunities are available. The Mountain Operations/Snowmaking team is looking to hire 20 new employees for the upcoming season. Mountain Ops/Snowmaking applicants must be at least 18 years old by 11/1/2022 to apply. Pay rate is $15-$20 per hour, depending on experience.
