Key Role:

Support the project team in the development and implementation of innovative strategic communications and outreach programs and initiatives designed to proactively engage program members, government partners, and stakeholders. Support gamified learning materials as a 2D artist with focus in user interface, user experience, graphic design, and digital illustration. Design user interfaces for educational videos, eLearning courses, and immersive training applications with an emphasis on usability and teachability.

Basic Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in a UI/UX designer role

• Experience in 2D and video concepts and production

• Experience with illustrating design ideas using wireframes, process flows, and sitemaps

• Knowledge of design tools, including Adobe Design Suite or User Flows

• Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies

• Ability to design graphic user interface elements, including menus, tabs, and forms

• Ability to provide a portfolio of design projects

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Bachelor's degree in a Multimedia Design or Web Development field

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with Game Engines, such as Unity

• Experience in gathering and evaluating user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers

• Experience with infographics and motion graphics

• Experience with high-end video production

• Possession of excellent presentation, interpersonal, customer support, and collaboration skills

• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,200.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
