Ames National Corporation is actively hiring a Network Administrator in Ames, IA.
As a Network Administrator you will provide maintenance for data and voice communication systems for the holding company and its affiliates. You will administer assigned Information Technology (IT) systems independently as well as work under general direction from IT management staff. Within this small company environment not only will this position be wearing multiple hats but this role will also have their hand in the system admin needs throughout Ames National and its affiliates.

Job Duties:
- Implement and maintain data and voice communication systems, including LAN, WAN, VoIP and Wireless
- Monitor the security, reliability, and performance of assigned systems to ensure optimal operation and availability
- Maintain detailed documentation of network device configurations, communication services and network changes
- Monitor assigned systems to ensure that key information security controls, such as patch management, vulnerability management, and user access controls are adequately implemented
- Recognize and communicate ways to make the holding company and affiliate banks more efficient and fosters a positive attitude within the company
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or comparable work in IT
- 4+ years of experience
- Technical certification(s) related to Security+, Network+ or CCNA is a plus
- Previous experience working in a financial environment is a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
