Description
SAIC is looking for a, Fully Remote, Network Infrastructure Lead to support the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Revolutionary IT Services (RITS) program to oversee the network infrastructure to deliver at the enterprise level within the USACE OCIO/G-6 environment IAW DoD, Army, and USACE OCIO G6 policies and procedures.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Lead the subtask lead(s) that ensure that Network Operations, Network engineering and technical services required to design, model, test, pilot, implement and maintain the systems that include but not limited to deliver voice, video, data, and other networking services
- Provide the Government and serve as the primary point of contact for Network related issues with advice, assistance, investigation, coordination, and implementation services for improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned given by the Director of Operations and/or other Senior Leader(s)
- Provide technical input, guidance and leadership on the Networking needs used in the Corps of Engineers’ environment
- Continually enhance the performance of the Networking team (s), Corps environment and Operational support through continual process improvement, automation, full utilization of existing tool sets, and recommendations for new tools
- Prepare and complete actions plans, implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, while resolving issues and conducting audits
- Brief senior leadership (C-Suite Executives and Senior DA Civilians/Military Staff) on the health and welfare of the network, prepare and present specific Network technologies
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors and fourteen (14) or more years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Experience working with network control protocols (QOS, PfR, PoE, NTP, DHCP), network management protocols (CDP, FTP, TFTP, SNMP) and security protocols (SSH, HTTPS, AAA, IPSec)
- Understanding of WAN/LAN transport technologies (Ethernet, DMVPN, MPLS)
- Experience managing 10+ direct reports and indirectly overseeing teams of 20+ employees
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain
- Must be a current US Citizen
