Key duties and details for Maintenance Mechanic:
- Repair and maintain machinery, plumbing, physical structures and fixtures of all aspects of operation
- Inspects machinery and equipment for defects
- Use blueprints, drawings, manuals or other specifications to perform required job
- Develop and implement preventative/predictive maintenance on all machinery and equipment
- Participate in training of apprentices and co-workers in gaining new skills
- Schedule: 11pm-7:30am
- Pay rate: $26.25/hr
- Minimum 3-5 years' industrial manufacturing experience
- Good basic mechanical knowledge and application of compressed air, hydraulics and pneumatics, basic electrical, welding, pumps and preventative maintenance
- Good understanding of the demands of production and knowledge of EPP processing
- Knowledge and application of Kurtz and Teubert steam chest molding machines
- Able to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Above average welding skills an asset
- Certification for operating lift trucks and aerial lift equipment in a safe manner
- Diploma/GED
