Carnegie Mellon University’s department of Athletics is searching for multiple Non-CMU, student-work experience/Part-time Desk/Facility Attendants. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by providing essential support by assisting in day-to-day operations and provide excellent customer service at desks serving patrons in recreation facilities during operating hours. Hours will vary but will be in two to four hour blocks of time per shift. This is a non-benefits eligible position. Priority consideration and preference will be given for individuals that have familiarity with the Carnegie Mellon community and university facilities. Hourly pay rate is $10/hr.
Core responsibilities will include:

Provide a high level of customer service, administrative skills, communication and collaboration, community support, and safety & security

Laundry for the athletics department
-
Troubleshoot and make sure customers/CMU ID holders are satisfied
-
Ensuring the athletics department area is well maintained and changing cleaning supplies when needed

Other duties as assigned
