R7 is a 40-bed cardiac telemetry unit seeking highly motivated RNs to join their team at Maine Medical Center. This fast-paced diagnostic and procedural unit cares for a complex cardiac population of patients including: NSTEMI, AFIB, Unstable Angina, Advanced Heart Failure and LVADs. The nursing team on R7 encompass nurses who deliver excellent patient care, take pride in teamwork, and who strive to continually develop themselves and each other professionally.
Position Summary
*No experience Necessary**This position plays an integral role for their unit, providing clerical support including, but not limited to: answering telephone calls, handling medical records, and responding to patient, family, and staff requests. If you possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a proactive approach to your work we would encourage you to apply.

• Ability to read, write and speak English in order to follow simple oral or written instructions and complete standard forms.

• Knowledge of policies, procedures and organizational structure of the unit, Department of Nursing, and Maine Medical Center.
• Participates in ongoing education relative to the role as defined.
• Basic computer skills and medical terminology recommended.
