Front Desk Support Team Manager

JOB OVERVIEW:

To assist the General Manager in providing leadership, direction, and supervision of the support team staff in the daily operations of the spa (including but not limited to) retail, salon. Assists in overseeing the coordination of all guest requests, as well as salon product inventory and ordering. Handles all group bookings and brides/bridal parties.

Job Duties:

Maintain complete knowledge of Salon and Spa including, hours of operation, spa and salon services, retail products.

Assist in the daily operations for the Salon and Spa. Manage bookings and therapist rotation.

Manager on Duty when Spa Manager is not present.

Assist in all aspects of the spa software, including upgrades and troubleshooting.

Enter all retail inventory into spa software.

Assist with all guests, cancelations, changes and or booking conflicts. Ability to resolve guest concerns professionally and competently and/or issues independently.

Ensures that service standards exceed guest expectations. Addresses guest and employee concerns constructively and effectively.

Assist in all Salon and Spa promotions to generate Spa revenue.

Train all new hires and ensure Employee Manual and Standard operating procedures are followed.

Assist in overseeing Boutique area.

Responsible for monthly spa, salon, and boutique inventory counts.

Assists with ongoing training and development of each support team member.

Continuous evaluation and improvement of the operations.

Work with other departments to report and track cleanliness, work tickets and repairs.

Qualifications

Customer service knowledge and experience

Data entry skills

Strong organizational and math skills

Reliable transportation

Desired qualifications and skills:

Previous visual merchandising experience

Previous experience working with large amount of inventory

2 + years’ experience working in Spa / Salon Customer Service driven environment

Mature, fashion forward, energetic, motivated dependable and can multitask

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition.

Always maintain a professional appearance and manner.

Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information and resolve conflicts. Ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
