This individual is responsible for managing the on-site maintenance for technicians and coordination of special projects at Rivian.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain quality relationships with shop technicians at customer locations in conjunction with our branch Management team.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs for all shifts of MH technicians.
  • Daily supervision of all technicians assigned to resident customer locations.
  • Daily sites check in for Rivian.
  • Secure proper authorization for sourcing equipment, scheduling PMs, parts ordering, etc.
  • Flexible to rotate coverage for spot-checking our technicians on backshifts.
  • Ensure completed work orders are submitted in MSP in a timely manner.
  • Review all completed work orders and make sure they are coded correctly.
  • Compile data and reports, analyze information, make recommendations, and meet with Customers and MH’s teams as required.
  • Provide recommendations that save costs for the customer and MH Equipment by rotation, replacement, improved maintenance, improved processes, on-site parts inventory, etc.
  • Work closely with customers & MH contacts to communicate details to appropriate departments that help in the decision process.
  • Utilize the Fleet Application for overall management and coordination, provide proof reporting to customers & MH personnel as needed.
  • Monitor and manage all WIP and open work orders.
  • Annual reviews of on-site technicians & any coaching / disciplinary issues. Will work with Branch Manager to enforce.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong Customer Relation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills and analytical skills (proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required).
  • Good problem solving abilities and ability to make decisions.
  • Good knowledge of lift trucks, the industry and applications.
  • Self-starting with the abilities to organize and manage time effectively, and work independently.
  • Supervisory experience necessary.
  • A good working knowledge of scheduling the work on all units needing repair.
  • Present a professional image in personal appearance, dress and preparation.

Working Conditions: Hours will be 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday or whatever it takes to get the job done. This is a salaried position and is exempt from overtime.
