Position Summary: The College Savings Operations Coordinator helps coordinate and process all daily activity and trades. Assist with ongoing projects and ensure 100% compliance with state partners.


Essential Functions:

  • Generate and print daily trade confirmations, checks, and reports.
  • Initiate, process, and follow up on rollover requests to various college savings programs while ensuring 100% compliance with state regulations.
  • Process incoming payroll contributions and forms. Serve as a contact for payroll companies.
  • Review, process and verify requests for distributions, investment changes, and various account changes such as enrollments, changes in ownership/beneficiary, transfers between accounts, etc.
  • Create and send Automated Clearing House transactions. Problem solve and follow up on returned requests.
  • Process and verify broker dealer changes.
  • Serve as back-up for all College Savings Plan operational duties; including input of enrollment forms, contributions, and nightly pricing tasks.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies, laws and regulations applicable to their role. Complete compliance training; follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in bank policies.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
  • One year 529 College Savings experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and in working with other financial software.

Working Environment:

Sedentary work – may occasionally involve lifting or carrying up to 10 pounds.
