Are you someone who excels at managing production, safety, and maintenance teams? Do you have experience streamlining processes and improvement? PPG Aerospace is looking for an Operations Supervisor to join our Kennesaw, GA facility. As our Operations Supervisor, you will lead the charge on exciting process improvement and lean projects while ensuring our facility meets all customer requirements. You will oversee shift production teams and encourage a culture of continuous improvement to improve team performance. If you want to part of a dynamic team, we want you on board!
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for Production, EHS, and Maintenance teams, while overseeing specific projects assigned by the Operations Manager
- Lead process improvement projects for the facility, manage people, equipment, materials, utilities, and budgets
- Manage EHS efforts and activities for the site, including training, record keeping, and audit/inspection readiness, and oversee maintenance, safety, and security of the entire facility
- Ensure all production goals are met, oversee shift production teams, and coordinate work schedules and staffing requirements to improve efficiency
- Identify and address problems related to production processes and flow, providing production reports to assist with process improvement
- Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning staffing, establishing priorities, supervising progress, revising schedules, and resolving problems, reporting results of processing flow on shift production summaries
Qualifications
- Three (3) years of supervisory, management or lead experience in a Manufacturing or Production environment
- Must be willing to work weekends and additional hours as needed
- Bachelor's degree in business management or related field preferred
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
