We are looking for an Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the orthodontist with patient care, providing patient education, and helping to maintain a clean and organized office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about dentistry and wants to make a difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the orthodontist in patient care.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
  • Educate patients on oral health care.
  • Take impressions of teeth and jaws.
  • Record patient information in the computer system.
  • Provide chair-side assistance to the orthodontist during procedures.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and filing patient records.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • 3x12
  • Rotating shift
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

  • Ortho assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

  • Spanish (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
  • Registered Dental Assistant certificate (Preferred)
