Job description

Large downtown Pittsburgh law firm seeks an experienced asbestos litigation paralegal for its busy asbestos practice. Qualified candidates should have 2-4 years of experience, and a Bachelors degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience.

Job duties:

- Reviewing, indexing and summarizing records and documents

- Electronic filing of court pleadings in various states and jurisdictions

- Scheduling of hearings, depositions, etc. on asbestos calendar

- Summarization of discovery responses- Maintaining databases with client records and documents

- Preparation of trial binders

- Preparation of client summary reports >- Processing of settlement agreements

- Preparation of correspondence, memoranda and other related documents

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelors degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience

- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Excellent organizational skills- Ability to work well with a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
